1. What AI touches on this site
NURO is an artificial intelligence company. We use AI in the production of this site, and several surfaces of the site themselves are AI-powered. Specifically:
- Site copy and articles. Portions of the written content across the site — including insights articles, page copy, meta descriptions, and structured data — were drafted, edited, or assisted using AI, then reviewed by a person before publication.
- The chat assistant at /chat. A retrieval-grounded AI assistant that streams responses from a multi-model fallback chain (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, via OpenRouter). It is bounded by Truth Boundaries and logged in the Decision Log, but it is an AI — it can be wrong.
- The HI into AI Assessment at /assessment. A 38-question behavioral and AI-matching diagnostic. The behavioral scoring is deterministic; the sales briefing generated on completion is produced by an AI model (Anthropic) and reviewed by a person before it drives any outbound conversation.
- Structured data and the LLM-discoverability layer. The JSON-LD schema,
llms.txt,/.well-known/ai.txt, and the/ai/*JSON endpoints are AI-generated summaries of the site, reviewed by a person, published so machine visitors get the same facts humans see. - Portions of the site code. The site itself was built by an operator pair-programming with an AI agent — an approach described in more detail in the NURO website case study.
2. How humans review AI-assisted content
Every piece of AI-assisted content that reaches this site passes through what NURO calls the Human Intelligence (HI) Review Step — mandatory, non-delegable, never waived for speed. A named person reads the output in full, verifies factual claims against primary sources, confirms nothing confidential was exposed to an unapproved tool, and takes ownership of the result. The AI does not publish; a person does.
The operational detail — verification protocol, deliverable checklist, tool-approval tiers, incident response, and named accountability — is documented in NURO's public AI Compliance & Governance Policy, voluntarily aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, and OWASP LLM Top 10.
3. What we cannot warrant
AI review, no matter how disciplined, does not make AI-assisted content infallible. Models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information. Facts change after publication. Structured data can drift.
Content on this site is provided “as is” for informational purposes only. NURO makes no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content on the site, AI-assisted or otherwise. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, professional, or investment advice. You are ultimately responsible for how you interpret or act on any information you find here.
The full warranty and liability language is in NURO's Terms of Service.
4. When you interact with our AI features
Two features on this site accept your input and process it through AI: the chat assistant at /chat and the HI into AI Assessment at /assessment. A few things to know before you use them.
Do not enter sensitive information
Do not type passwords, credit-card numbers, government-issued identifiers (SSN, EIN, driver's license), banking details, health information, information under NDA, or other sensitive personal or business data into the chat window or any AI-driven form on this site. If you would not put it on a postcard, do not put it in the chat.
Chat prompts are streamed through OpenRouter for delivery to model providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI) under terms that prohibit training on our inputs. Chat conversations persist on your device and are also synced to NURO's CRM once you share an email — so we can follow up like a human would. See the Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party Processors section of our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling detail.
If you would prefer to reach a human directly and skip the AI features altogether, email [email protected] or use the contact page.
5. Where else to look
- AI Compliance & Governance Policy — how NURO governs AI internally across every engagement. Bounded autonomy, named ownership, incident response, training, and audit standards. Version 1.1.
- Privacy Policy — AI and Third-Party Processors — what happens to data submitted through the chat and Assessment, which AI providers process it, and what we do and do not share.
- Terms of Service — Artificial Intelligence Disclosure — the warranty and liability language governing use of this site.
- Contact — questions, corrections, or requests to reach a human directly.
